Coming Up with Character Names

We have a trio that demands attention. With their shared aesthetic of leather, grit, and attitude, it is clear this group is ready to take on the world. As the official mascots for the First Church of Druwayu, they represent a unique spirit of strength, unity, and a modern craft of Warlockery and Witchery.

At the center of it all, we have the enigmatic Mr. Skulls—also known as The H.E.W.—standing tall with his signature look. But every legendary team needs a balanced dynamic, and that is where we need your creative input.

We are officially opening the floor for a community naming campaign to find the perfect monikers for his two partners in "crime" so to speak, or patriotism depending on the opinions of the observers.

The Challenge

WE HAVE A COLLECTIVE SHARED PROBLEM

The landscape of modern web infrastructure has been hollowed out. We have traded performance, transparency, and ownership for the "conglomerate model"—where once-independent brands are consolidated under parent companies that prioritize debt servicing and aggressive upselling over server stability and user autonomy. Worse, this model has reinforced a technocratic cage, utilizing AI that mimics human interaction to deflect real issues—a development far more insidious than the bot farms of the past.

It is my view that the time to build an alternative is now. It is my plan to launch a company dedicated to restoring a "customer and infrastructure-first" philosophy. We are building a cooperative, not a conglomerate, to put people back in the driver’s seat.

I was asked what would happen if we took things like the Old Phonetician letter system with the base theology of the One and Three and so on. I thought it was an interesting enough question. So I took some time and ended up with the following:

• God (All Seasons and No Seasons): 𐤀 (A / Aleph). The Absolute Center and point of stillness. The manifestation of Fire (the primordial ignition of existence). The usual music instrument is anything brass based.

How this Druish Flag aligns with Druwayu and Druish Culture

Because the first day the Church officially went live online at the same time that the Church was officially named the First Church of Druwayu was on October 1, 2024, and is considered the time of year for both the last harvest and the lead up to Halloween, the colors were chosen based on all of this.

1: On the Field are 13 stripes alternating from 7 Pumpkin Orange to 6 Midnight Black. This was based on the concept of the 13 Nights of Halloween which has its own history and often a play off the 12 Days of Christmas.
