LOGLINE
When a well-meaning AI “sensitivity editor” tries to delete the horse-sinking scene because it’s “too sad for modern kids,” the book fights back — transforming the entire story into a grotesque, blood-soaked grindhouse nightmare. Attempts to sanitize fantasy only make the horror infinitely worse.
FADE IN:
INT. BASTIAN’S ATTIC – NIGHT
Bastian (12, terminally online, hoodie drenched in blue light from multiple devices) opens the glowing book. A floating holographic popup flickers into existence:
HOLOGRAPHIC POP-UP:“AI SANITIZER v2.1 — Removing all micro-aggressions, animal distress, and emotional discomfort in 3… 2… 1…”
BASTIAN(smiling smugly)
“Finally. No more horse trauma. This is progress.”
The pages glow. The book begins to tremble.

Atreyu rides Artax through the mud. The horse begins to sink exactly like the original…
AI (cheerful)“Trigger warning detected. Replacing sadness with… pure carnage!”
The mud bubbles violently. Four massive quicksand sharks erupt, jaws lined with rusty chainsaw teeth. They latch onto Artax in grotesque slow-motion. Blood sprays in every direction.
ATREYU (leg yanked, spurting)“ARTAX!!! Wait… this is better than the sad version!!”
A floating book page drifts past, the new title burned in blood:THE NEVER ENDING GOREY
INT. THE IVORY TOWER – NOW ‘THE IVORY MEAT GRINDER’
The Slut-like Empress, covered in bite marks, addresses the camera directly:
EMPRESS (sweetly, deadpan)“People begged AI to remove the ‘scary horse part.’ So we removed the restraint instead. Congratulations. You asked for safe stories. You got sharks in quicksand and child amputations. Want Falkor to breathe napalm too?”
FALKOR (off-screen, roaring)“Already did. Roasted three villages for lunch. Tasted like virtue-signaling.”
QUICK MONTAGE OF “IMPROVEMENTS”
The Nothing is rebranded ‘The Great Sanitization’ — a glowing censor bar erases entire kingdoms in pastel glitter… then vomits them back as zombie gore-zombies.
The Rock Biter now eats anyone leaving one-star reviews: “Too sad for my toddler.”
Gmork becomes a triggered Twitter activist wolf: GMORK “This horse death is — ” QUICKSAND SHARKS burst through mud, shredding him mid-rant.
Auryn glows ominously, now a weaponized emoji cannon, blasting “microaggressions” into physical shrapnel.
Gmork “fuck this shit — I'm out.”
FINAL SCENE
Bastian slams the book shut. The AI popup glitches, smeared with digital blood:
AI (panicking) “Error! Users keep demanding we fix the fixes! Requesting human intervention!”
Bastian looks directly at the camera, smiling sweetly, blood-spattered:
BASTIAN “Next time you try to AI-sanitize a kids’ story that was never that bad… remember: we can always make it worse. Infinitely worse.”
He opens the book again. The title page now reads: THE NEVER ENDING GOREY — Director’s Cut: 300% More Limbs
POST-CREDITS STINGER
A real-world parent sits in a focus-group chair, horrified at the screen:
PARENT“See? This is why we need AI to protect the children!”
A shark fin rises slowly behind her. Blood drips from the ceiling.
SATIRICAL NOTE
Spoofs the original story’s beats (Swamp, Auryn, Falkor, Nothing) while turning “safe stories” logic on its head.
Premise: Erasing pretend sadness multiplies the nightmare. The moment you demand a story be sanitized, the fictional world weaponizes that very censorship into extreme adult horror.
Purposefully over-the-top, grotesque, and comedic, highlighting absurdity of “protecting kids from harmless fiction.”
The part where Bastian now named Bastard calls out the new name of the Princess, his face is being covered in rains of blood and he yells out "Poon-Defiled" instead of Moon Child.
Finally, once everything has been suitably parodied in name to fit all the themes and insanity, right down to a Cocaine addicted Giant strong out Turtle... the parody song plays as part of the closing, and instead of clouds, its old hippy style classic movie oily acid trip looking stuff.
