Druans dont deny the weight of history. It acknowledges the scars left by institutional religious overreach and the tensions of the past. However, the movement fundamentally rejects the perpetuation of historical grievance as a justification for contemporary hostility.

To frame all modern religious practitioners—and specifically Druans—as inheritors of collective guilt for early modern persecutions is not an act of justice; it is an act of intellectual dishonesty.

The Druish perspective distinguishes between the historical actions of monolithic institutions and the present-day lives of individual practitioners who seek to contribute to a pluralistic society.

While there are undoubtedly fanatics in every corner of human thought whom we must all stand against, the modern trend of blaming religion as the "sole source of the world’s woes" is a grotesque oversimplification. It is a narrative pushed by those who are either historically illiterate or willfully manipulative.

Gerald Gardner, considered the official founder chose to write Wica, with one ‘c’. This is clearly seen in his published books where a pattern also emerges which shows that Gardner’s usage of the word increased throughout the 1950s and some later authors will into the late 1970s to early 1980s.

The one who actually changed it was an author named Scott Cunningham who popularized the spelling Wicca (with two C's) over earlier Wica (with one C), particularly through his influential 1988 book, Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner. 

However "Wicca" began appearing in the 1960s and 1970s when it was understood it was pronounced Wech-uh though some pronounced it Wich-ae. The sources, however were not very good linguists.

Two systems that define truth, authority, law, morality, and legitimacy in mutually exclusive ways cannot coexist without one dominating or invalidating the other. Druwayu and Islam fall into that category.

Truth in Islam is revealed through a prophet, claimed to be from Allah, absolute, final, and unchallengeable. The Qur’an is complete, immutable, and serves as the ultimate arbiter of reality, morality, and law according to Muslims. Human reason is subordinate to revelation; obedience is morally required.

Because these systems receive and validate truth in fundamentally opposite ways—one through observation and human discernment, the other through divine command—their claims cannot coexist in the same moral or legal…

A Real Religion isn’t just a collection of symbols, slogans, or PR Stunts and campaigns. A true spiritual tradition — such as Druwayu — consists of coherent concepts, ideas. doctrines, ethical grounding, and a committed path of a truly spiritual, personal, moral and ethical development of self, and by proxy, the local culture. These core concepts have been largely lost/ignored.

By contrast, Theistic and Philosophic Satanism, especially as currently embodied in groups like The Satanic Temple (TST) and the popular media version of the Church of Satan (CoS), lacks this foundational seriousness intentionally while spiting moral philosophies they clear do not comprehend as much as they like to claim.
