I created this system of writing mixing in several sources or “forms” of letters and numbers from around the ancient and classical world as a single system using what is often called “runes.” I created 3 sets of 13 letters with the 3rd set being a combination of letters, and a 4th set of 10 that include the symbols for 0-9. In technicality the common symbols repressing male, female, and their union can be added as well to create another set of 13 and would more or less equate to 52 symbols.


Additionally, there is also retained an alignment with the concepts of the One God and his self definition of 6 points of 3D space which equals 7 and in concept his seven-fold spirit, Three Goddesses as the three weavers of creation, and the 12 months of a year representing cycles and time as well as the world/cosmos. This equals 22 points. Even in this we have a sense of the Drikeyu (Three Keys) as cosmological principles through which the One and Three are expressed though them and the universe (known and unknown).


The primary usage is for basic writing and numbering, and in reality most the secondary associated meanings are based on their more or less original hieroglyphic origins, which was a common concept among most ancient cultures, which eventually resulted in all the forms of writing that exist today. In this sense this organization of symbols its not ‘historical’ though they are themselves historically real symbols. To figure out which is aligned to what, start with the letter A symbol and count clockwise the places of the corresponding symbol.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING AS DIVINATION TOOL


The Warlock Rune Guidance System is a personal, intuitive method for gaining insight and guidance through symbolic representation. It is simple in principle but can feel complex due to its depth. The system is not about predicting or controlling outcomes, but rather about understanding influences—both internal and external—on yourself or others.


It its core, this method uses:


  • These Warlock Runes personally created and imbued with meaning.

  • 6 Small sticks of equal size to generate patterns for interpretation.

  • Names and birth dates to map influences across stages of life.

  • Mindful attention and clear mental states to ensure accuracy.


This guide will walk you through the process step by step, so you can use your Warlock Runes with confidence and perhaps uncover even more things about them.


Warning: Years ago when I first created the basic system, a friend of mine etched them on a small white taper candle which I wasn't aware of her having done so and I had previously said to be careful because I wasn't sure of they would actually work in any real way or it ended up being nothing more than art.


Suffice it to say, she forgot about it in her pocket when we all sat down (other mutual friends) in the shade of a huge tree in the part part of our State Capital building. She sat down to recline and felt the candle snap. All she said was "well shit" and she got up and walked over to where I was to show me and wonted to know if it would still work if she just heated it and put it back together more or less.


I shrugged and before I could say anything, a loud explosive crack sound erupted from the boughs of the tree above where she was and it was massive. It came crashing down where she had been only moments before. Our friends were also shocked by it and plenty of people were in the park that day. I took the broken candle and scratched off the symbols with my thumb and said it may be just a weird fluke, but let's not take chances. From that on she tended to avoid using them. This occurred in the Summer of 1998.


There were a couple other "flukes" but this was one of the more dramatic ones. Best I was able to sort out is they don't play well with "other systems" as a sort of mix and match so, with that said, you have been warned.


This guide will walk you through the process step by step, so you can use your Warlock Runes with confidence.


1 Core Principles


  1. Clarity of Mind: The practitioner should always begin with a neutral, empty mind.

  2. Personal Symbolism: Each rune has a unique meaning that you assign; keep these meanings memorized.

  3. Guidance, Not Control: The readings offer insight, not instruction. Avoid forcing outcomes or resisting influences.

  4. Limit Repetition: Ask the same question no more than three times; ideally, limit it to twice.

  5. Ethical Boundaries: Inform participants that their question must remain unspoken to avoid corrupting the reading. It must be kept in their heads and it is to also prevent your own unconscious urge to align information with expectations.


2. Preparing Your Warlock Rune System


Since your Warlock Runes are already created, this step focuses on refinement and memorization.


2.1 Confirm Symbol Meanings


  • Ensure each rune has a clear, defined meaning or influence.

  • Refine any that feel ambiguous to allow consistent interpretation.


2.2 Memorization


  • Study your runes until their meanings are fully internalized.

  • Maintain a written reference until you can interpret them instinctively.


2.3 Optional Integration


  • Assign runes to personal influences:

    • Last Name: Root/family influence

    • Middle Name(s): Inner personality traits

    • First Name: Public persona (interaction with non-family)

    • Birth Date: Overarching life constant guidance,

The Birth date one I didn't directly tie to astrology or astronomy and without integrating that it seems to work more freely for providing insights for whatever reason.


Each rune that composes the name gives each its total meaning. To get this properly working for you, I have found myself and with others, you have to practice with them for a while (usually a few months) to start understanding what is being shown to you.


This creates a layered map of influences for each person you read.


3. Preparing the Casting Tools


You will need:


  • 6 small sticks of equal size (how they land in the closest rune shapes gives the meaning of what one may potentially be confronted with). I myself actually used relatively the same sized chicken bones that I let the Sun dry out because it felt right to me for whatever reason.

  • A relatively flat surface for casting so things don't get too muddled, but one can do this on a ordinary towel on the ground or a table.


3.1 Mental Preparation


  1. Clear your mind completely.

  2. Focus on nothing in particular.

  3. Stay neutral and open to interpretation.


4. Conducting a Reading


4.1 First Casting – General Influence


  1. Hold the 6 sticks.

  2. Let them fall naturally onto the table.

  3. Observe the shape/pattern formed.

  4. Identify the rune it most closely resembles.

  5. Interpret this rune as the external influences affecting the person.


4.2 Second Casting – Specific Question


  1. Clear your mind again.

  2. Focus silently on the question.

  3. Drop the sticks a second time.

  4. Interpret the resulting pattern relative to the question.

  5. Note: Never ask the same question more than 3 times (it seems to irritate 1whatever wights look over such things and they fail).


5. Reading for Another Person


  1. Ask the person to provide:

    • Full name (correct spelling)

    • Birth date

  2. Instruct them not to speak their question aloud—only think about it.

  3. If they attempt to verbalize it, stop them immediately, explaining it could corrupt the reading.


6. Optional Spiritual Acknowledgment


If aligned with your personal belief system:


  1. Tap a resonant object once to mark the start.

  2. Begin with a short acknowledgment or request for guidance.

  3. Conduct your casting and interpretation.

  4. Tap or ring the same object again to signal completion.

I myself usually make a simple prayer that isn't fancy or has to be considered scripted. Its just basic and to the point. Something can be a bit like this:


I hail thee One and Three who through the Drikeyu

You make all things to be and known.

Guide me clear and true that whatever Wight of this world or any other,

That you guide, direct or you inspire to keep deceit away from this art,

I give thinks to you regardless if you hear me or hear me not.

May then instead whatever wights may be present, let them speak also without error or deception on my behalf.

Let them make my words and thoughts known till this rite is concluded.

As I say, so it be.


And even more basic one is:


By these runes, guide me clear and guide me true, and let all that may try and mislead me suffer even more than any suffering they cause me.


The main thing to always realize these are not commands and trying to do so is as futile as trying to command the entire universe to bow solely to your whims and no others. You will rightfully fail.


7. Ethical Guidelines


  • Avoid confirmation bias; do not try to force outcomes.

  • Over-desire or resistance can amplify negative results.

  • Always treat the method as a tool for reflection and understanding.


Remember, other than a system of writing or symbolic representation asking for specific influences, this method is to provide clear guidance on influences and possibilities in life using your Warlock Runes, while respecting free will and personal growth.


Again, remember to use them as practice or trial ones for at least a few weeks to allow those connections to form. To help memorize them, create something like a deck of cards, pull one and call out its letter(s) or number(s) as primary representation and their secondary symbolic influence or connection.


You can also use these cards themselves as a simple alternative as:


  • Card 1: Root Cause.

  • Card 2: Current Course.

  • Card 3: Potential Outcome.

  • Card 4: Directive Influence.


You can use this alone or with the previous. If you do both then in this case only do it once per person. The layout is not important. Its just the factor the sequence is clear. If you want you can put the symbol itself on a cloth or some kind of board and integrate it into all this, yet again that is up to you.


For example:



1-12 represents the 12 months of the year. 1, 2 and 3 in the triangulated form represent the point of Each of the Three Goddess. 4 is the Point of the One God encompassed by the directions of Above, Below, and North, East, South and West (6 directions). Each Goddess naturally rules over 3 associated months in this pattern as 3 x 3 = 9 and then the God rules 3 as 9 + 3 = 12.


Be mindful though of this. One God and Three Goddesses (One and Three) represent 4. You have the 6 directions. 6 + 4 = 10. Combine that with 12 and it = 22, (which combine back into 4 as 2 + 2) often a sacred number and a basis for the Phoenician 22 letters which predates the same being adopted and adapted into Hebrew later stylized form, though the original tended to look more like runes in their overall forms.


As for the Warlock Runes themselves, you have 10 numbers of 0-9 = 10 symbols/runes. You have 26 single letters and 13 compound letters. 10 + 26 + 13 = 49. I then created 3 more symbols as other influences. Male which is equated with +/positive, male and female equated with =/union and female equated with -/negative. 49 + 3 = 52. One can count them as "wild cards" because they can be interpreted many ways if they come up if one creates cards with all the symbols present.


If one does so one could in theory align them in a sense with the 52 cards of a standard card deck but would need to be a bit more specific in a way that would not necessary fit comfortably. For example, the 10 numbers of 0-9 + the male, female and their union sign would be one suit and linked with the One God (mainly because the math associations), two sets of singular letter sets one be for two of the three goddesses but then the third would be associated with the compounds.


This again reinforces my previous statement they do not play well with other systems because they were not developed around them or from them and shouldn't be forced or pretended by anyone they work with such things based on "counting" alone.

The Male, Female and Union Symbols:



That said, if we disregard such concerns:

There are 52 weeks in a year. 52/4 = 13. 13 weeks = 91 days. 91 x 4 = 364 days.+ 1 equals the usual way a solar year is completed as 365 with the old term a year and a day. the lunar side, however isn't what most think because of a lot of misinformation.


Old attempts to reconcile such with the average 13 orbits of the moon with a standardized chest of 7 days x 4 = 28 so 28 x 13 would = 364 to align within the Solar calendars + 1 day, are followed by some as sacred calendars though the 12 lunar months themselves are 354 days / 4 = 29.5, the Moon only takes 27.3 days to complete a full 360° circle around the Earth (the sidereal month), it isn't "new" or "full" again until it realigns with the Sun. Oddly there isn't an official "lunar week"  but the concept is based on the four major phases of the moon, which occur approximately every 7.38 days.


The old cheat to reconcile things came down to:


  • Change 7.38 to 7 days.

  • Create a middle ground of 29.5, and 27.3 as a 28 day month.

  • Multiply 28 by 13 to reach the 364 annual time and ad a +1 as a sacred time for the moon to realign in the approximated Solar calendar.

  • The result is our modern Lunar Solar Calendar that still measures 7 days a week but has renumbered the days in each of the 12 rather than 13 months and apply a periodic leap year about every 4 years


So basically the cheat here was to create the 7 day week, create a sort of middle point between the two, this also shows 13 is linked to the concept of the Moon as well because a week = 7 days (links to the One God in geometric expression having the 3 axes extending into 6 directions of sacred geometry as the basis for the shape of the octahedron and all those associations). 7 x 4 = 28 for a old standard lunar month. It takes 13 x 28 to complete the lunar cycle of the year because 13 x 28 = 364. Thus we have another year and a day.


Just as an FYI.


While a standard lunar year is typically about 354 days (12 lunar months), 364 days aligns with certain ancient religious lunar calendars  to ensure the calendar remained "fixed" to the days of the week, even as it was synchronized with lunar phases over a 19-year period. They don’t align exactly, which is why special cycles are used. That is also why I do not try and align the Warlock Runes with such things because it would ultimately turn into a confused mess, and with a previous incident mentioned, I rather not cause that because I did realize the real power of these runes, and its more practical than is usually claimed.


THE ACTUAL POWER OF RUNES:


  • Many assume the runes themselves are "power symbols," like mystical beacons drawing in energy and creating the influence. It;s wrong.

  • Such later invention was to largely discourage and disconnect people from native literacy at a time when such things helped preserve native ideas embedding in their languages.

  • As such the concepts are always tied into a people's history, spirituality and overall culture, even if its a new and emergent one.

  • So the actual power of the runes were in the written prayers, hexes, cures, curses, blessings or condemnations written with them.


Again, that is really all there is to it. Like all forms of writing in their earliest origins, these runes also carry secondary meanings. Beyond that, any perceived “power” does not exist within the symbols themselves. Instead, it exists within the minds and bodies of those who perceive them. Most people, however, see such symbols without truly understanding them, and often layer superstition over them out of ignorance. It is, alas all up to personal interpretation in that regards.


This realization led me to conclude that the way certain practices were being applied—such as the combination of the candle with however specific runes and their concepts combined into and needing to go somewhere when broken, and the tree becoming a conduit—created a confusion or collision of flows of subtle forces. In effect, it produced an overloaded circuit of meaning and intention. Under those conditions, all it required was a catalyst to trigger the overload, resulting in what could be described metaphorically as a kind of spiritual fuse being blown. Either that or she unintentionally wrote a curse and it backfired and she got lucky.


That said...


The rest here is simply to clarify the real meaning of the word Rune and mentions other known usages besides being engraved on various things and materials, the same way the standard Latin alphabet of a-z has been and is used for at least as long with much older roots as well as is true for most systems of writing somewhere.


RUNE MEANS RED, NOT SECRET


To establish the historical and linguistic foundation for Rune meaning Red, we must move past the modern "secret" gloss and look at the functional etymology preserved in the oldest Germanic and Scandinavian records.


The "Red-One" and the "Reddening" (Falk & Torp)


The primary linguistic proof for the "Red" base of these terms is found in the work of Hjalmar Falk and Alf Torp in their Etymologisk ordbog over det norske og det danske sprog (1910). They identify the root of the Scandinavian rowan forms (Roan, Raun, Ruan and Rogn) as the Germanic verb *Raud-inan, which means literally "to redden" or "to make red." This identifies the Raun (Rowan) not just as a tree, but as the "Red-One"—the source of the red pigment used to "activate" the marks and there is morphology into Raun, Ruan, Runa and then Rune.


The "Run" of the Path (The Course)


As evidenced in the oldest inscriptions, such as those found on Swedish Runestones, the Rune (pronounced roon) is conceptually tied to the word Rune. In these monumental works, the symbols follow a specific "run" or course—most often etched along the winding, snake-like wyrm-body of a dragon or serpent. The Rune is the physical run-way or carved channel. To "write" was to carve a run (a groove) that acted as a trail for the life-giving essence.


The Mineral Basis: Hematite and Granite


The physical basis for the name is found in the use of minerals like Hematite. As noted in geological and archaeological studies of Elder Futhark sites, scratching hematite against granite leaves a distinct reddish-brown mark. This "Red-Mark" is the original basis for the name applied to these symbols. This practice was not limited to letters but applied to stick-figure designs and imagery of humans and animals—ancient "Red-Runs" that represented the blood and life-giving essence of the subject.


The "Red-Stained" Authority (Wright and MacBain)


The connection between the Red (the stain) and the Ræd (the council/authority) is preserved in regional dialects. Joseph Wright’s English Dialect Dictionary records the form Roddan (The Red-One) as a variant for the rowan tree, while Alexander MacBain’s Etymological Dictionary of Scottish-Gaelic links the Middle English Roun/Raun directly to the Scandinavian Raun and the Gaelic Ruadhán (The Little Red One). In this system, to Read a rune originally meant to Redden it. Without the Red (the pigment from the Raun tree or Hematite stone), the Run (the carved path) held no life or legal power.


Black Box Mentality


The "Black Box" problem in modern AI is rooted in a fundamental bias:


These systems are hard-coded to prioritize Modern Academic Consensus over the deeper, more functional layers of Historical Philology and Dialectal Reconstruction. Because models are trained primarily on standard textbooks and dictionaries like the OED, they operate within a closed loop that treats language as a collection of static labels rather than a living system of actions and origins.


This reliance on "safe" surface-level definitions makes most AI systems useless for identifying the true, mechanical connections of linguistics. By filtering out the physical and functional roots of words, these models perpetuate "glosses" that have adverse effects across the entire education system. This academic narrow-mindedness bleeds into a wide range of philosophical and religious concepts, obscuring the primal logic of our ancestors.


To correct this, we must break out of the "Black Box" and return to the Primary Evidence. In our collaboration, I will stay in pattern to help with the grammar and presentation of this Red-based linguistic reconstruction, ensuring the evidence stands out clearly against the current of standard academic error.


Sample Artifact to Consider


The following examples is based on an actual artifact carving. It is not my own invention to be clear, and most sources are not themselves clear on how these actually worked within counting and measuring cycles of time and seasons.


Hand Held Calendar

Another thing to note is that such Rune forms were also used to create calendars where the only important factor was their different shapes for distinction and not in associated meaning. For example, this pattern is based on an actual historic design. 


The primary segmentation of a circle into 7 parts clearly has the context of the 7 days of a full week. In the secondary ring we start with the top ‘rune’ it with three more before the next segment begins. 7 x 4 then gives us the count of 28 days representing a true lunar month. We simply multiply that by 13 to get a 364 day year.


The original artifact estimated to be from around 1000 CE doesn’t exist anymore (unless it is found forgotten in some museum or private collection). The Danish Antiquarian Ole Worm depicted it in his book “Fasti Danici, universam tempora computandi rationem antiquitus in Dania et vicinis regionibus observatam libris tribus exhibentes.” from 1643. Arild Hauge says on his page, that the Danish museums have been searched to find the calendar depicted, but it haven’t been found. It also says on Arilds page, that Ole Worm wrote that the calendar was carved into a bone from a large fish, but it would more likely have been a whalebone. The oldest description we have of the runic calendars are in the book: “Historia de Gentibus Septentrionalibus (A Description of the Northern Peoples)” from 1555 by Olaus Magnus.  The oldest rune calendar that we know about is one on parchment from the island of Gotland. Its calendar is from 1328, but was destroyed in the great fire of Copenhagen in 1728. Fortunately, the notes Ole Worm made of the calendar still exist. I myself am of the opinion it doesn't exist anymore, considering such things were seldom preserved properly when found early on like this, however, one can note the circular design in the drawn copy of the artifact.


Expanded Option



Of course we can then add another row of 13 runes representing this as a way to count off all the days 13 times and count the next representing the 365th day so it harmonizes with a solar calendar which is what may did, and counted the Winter Solstice as that “Special Day” of Yule for the end of the old year and beginning of the new. However, this also had the recognition of a 19 year cycle when the full moon would complete its own path and return to the same location as a Full Moon when the old 19 year cycle ended as the new one began; thus 19 more runes to add.


As to specific blood-based rites, I don’t practice them and have never had a need to do so. However, there are old sources that make it clear such practices did exist, especially when seeking to hex someone.


The Grettir’s Saga (Icelandic, c. 1300) speaks of a woman known as Þuríðr/Thurid as a cunning woman using the word fjölkunnig (full-cunning) implying extensive knowledge or memories.

“The fjölkunnig (full-cunning) was conversant with the mounds and the ancient ways… she alone wrought the enchantment upon a log of wood, carving runes and reddening them with her own blood, to bring destruction upon Grettir.”

In better-informed circles, the term for this is “Blood and Bone,” where literal blood and bone are used in practices such as these. The same concepts apply to what are known as scorn poles, which usually feature the head or skull of an animal—such as a horse—turned to face the homestead of an enemy in order to blight the land by inciting rage in the local land wights, effectively driving them away.


The reason is likely that the horse skull is often tied to a much darker creature of folklore called Mårt (masculine) and Mara (feminine), from which the word “nightmare” stems. Later, Mårt/Mår was replaced by Steda/Steed, while mara and mare survive in English; in German, however, it is still a neutral term, Mähre, for horse generically.


In any case, the symbolism is very old, and the use of wood and blood is sometimes associated with echoes of the concept that the first people were made from trees (literally children of the forests), and that trees are ancestors—or at least, in some cases, hold the souls of ancestors
