The Craft Is Beyond Politics:

The Craft Is Beyond Politics:

Traditions Older Than The Invented Modern Culture Wars

The modern discussion around The Craft is often drowned in arguments that have little to do with the actual practice itself. Political tribalism, anti-male rhetoric, internet identity wars, conspiracy thinking, and social media performance have all been layered onto something that, for many practitioners throughout history, was far simpler and far more personal. Some condemn all this of course as Apostasy (choosing another path), which is a basic human right; threats of punishment for it reveal tyranny and a very weak, or powerless deity that requires human hands (men or women) to carry out such barbarism.

Additionally, it needs to be recognized that things like the so called religion of Wicca (which was actually spelled Wica when it was invented in the 1940s), does not have the copyright on a subject that predates it by at least as…

Remember what is usually behind this kind of nonsense:

It is the nonsense claim women are better than men which is no different then the claim men are better than women. In other words, the debate of 4 year olds.

But feminists impose it into everything and more or less break it down as:

If a woman happens to do something better than a man, its proclaimed all women are better than men. If a man outperforms a woman in anything, then the same feminists proclaim evidence of toxic masculinity, misogyny, discrimination, and retrograde oppressive patriarchy.

INTRODUCTION: THE CORE VIEW OF DRUWAYU

INTRODUCTION: THE CORE VIEW WITHIN DRUWAYU

Within the Druwayu tradition, Druans understand humanity through a single foundational insight that all human beings arise from the same underlying essence. This essence is the Wihas, the shared ground from which all reality is formed. It is not divided by culture, belief, status, or behavior.

From this recognition comes a dual responsibility:

First, to extend compassion to all people as expressions of that shared essence.

Second, to recognize that actions can distort alignment with that essence in ways that cause harm and disrupt the balance of communal life.

In many ancient societies, abortion was generally frowned upon or outright prohibited, especially in cultures that rejected human and infant sacrifice. This pattern reflects a fundamental valuation of life, the social necessity of children, and the belief that interfering with gestation disrupted the holy and truly divine or sacred cosmic order.

Polytheistic Societies

In polytheistic civilizations, the protection of life was often linked to the favor of multiple gods and the natural order.

  • Ancient Egypt: Life was considered sacred and closely connected to the divine. Fertility, childbirth, and family were under the patronage of deities like Isis and Hathor, who safeguarded women and children. Interfering with gestation, therefore, was more than a personal decision—it risked divine displeasure. While textual evidence of explicit abortion laws is limited, medical…
