A Guide to Druan Spiritual Cleansing and Protection

The Rite of Wyrd-Alignment:
Spiritual Cleansing & Protection
This guide provides a framework for performing spiritual cleansing within the traditions of Druwayu, focusing on the restoration of sacred order and the maintenance of personal balance.
By utilizing natural tools such as cedar, salt, and beeswax, this practice is designed to harmonize your living space and spirit with the influence of "The One and Three" and the Wights of the land.
Through structured invocations and daily affirmations, you will establish a protective boundary, clear stagnant energetic residues, and re-align your personal Wyrd, ensuring your environment remains a sanctuary of clarity, strength, and divine order. Technically you are both invoking and evoking forces of influence because invoke means to "bring in" or call to you versus evoke means to "bring out" what is from within you.
Note: Worloga, also known to some as Orlog is aligned with and considered the expression of the One (God). Wyrd, also known as the Yrkja is considered an expression of the Three (Goddesses), as Wihas (also *wīhaz in the speculative) from Wiht- (akin to Latin vita) is also Vígja from Vig-, a basic word meaning life and becomes wight (living being/life having) and thus connected to the core concept of Wights, later used more restrictively for spirit beings.
ESSENTIAL CLEANSING TOOLS
Cedar: Used to invite the blessing of the Wights and purify the homestead.
Juniper: Used for deep cleansing and protection against malicious influence.
Salt: Earth’s mineral essence for grounding and stabilizing the boundary of your space, also linked to the concept of preservation.
Black Tourmaline: To anchor your personal Wyrd and repel stagnant or chaotic energies.
Clear Quartz: To clarify your intent before The One and Three.
Beeswax or white Candles: Natural light for illuminating the home and calling upon the favor of the One and Three.
Bell/Resonate Object: Run once to notify the start of a ceremony, and again at the conclusion.
Black Drawstring Pouch: This will hold the contents as described with each phase of this craft.
You will use these things and putt the collection into a pouch, usually black material, or leather, and will be sewing closed with these contents, including the ashes from burning the herbs.
SIMPLE CLEANSING PRACTICES
Ring the bell and being with the following and remember that you can use your own words that best suits you and have a deeper connection with your inner self as it were.
Smoke and Wind
Light a bundle of dried cedar or juniper. Move slowly through your space, allowing the smoke to drift into corners.
“Wights of the Wind, Wights of the breeze,
Release all that is oppressing or rests heavily,
To be scattered and carried away.
Unclouded the mind, unrestrained the breath,
Distance the heavy fog of exhaustion.
Sweep through the shadows, clear the haze,
Ignite the intellect, set it ablaze.
Awaken the brilliance hidden inside,
Where sharp understanding and wisdom abide.
Blow far away each heavy thought,
Untangle the knots anxiety wrought.
Restore the focus, crisp and bright,
Fill every concept with crystalline light."
Gather the ashes and place them in the pouch and place them somewhere hidden for the time being where they wont be disturbed but where you will remember to retrieve everything again and recite;
"With these ashes, freedom is sealed."
Salt
Place a small bowl of sea salt mixed with dried juniper in the room overnight to absorb stagnant energy. Note that Salt is an element of Earth and Water is the other.
Water Cleansing Bath/Shower
Add sea salt to your bathwater to cleans your body and your electric field, otherwise called an aura.
“Wights of Land and Sea,
As this salt into the water dissolves,
So are all threats dissolved, and set me free.
As this salt preserves,
So all that is clean and cleansed is preserved.
Guard the shorelines of my soul,
Keep the sacred spaces whole.
Wash away the hidden threat,
Cast a safe and shielding net.
Lock the blessings deep inside,
Safe from every shifting tide.
By the earth and by the foam,
Keep this spirit as your home.”
Note: If you only have a shower, as is the case for many with physical limitations, let the salt dissolve into a bowl of water, use your fingers or something like a sponge to sprinkle the water onto yourself, then turn the shower on and use the same recitation.
Take some of the salt and also add it to your pouch and recite:
"With this salt, the cleansing is seal."
Nighttime
Sit in the moonlight holding a clear quartz
"Wights of Moon and of Starlight Bright,
Cleanse and brighten with protection and peace
From cruel nightmares and darkest beasts.
Guard the deep waters of the dreaming mind,
Keep the subconscious safe, aligned.
Shield the unseen, the psychic sight,
Through the shadows of the night.
Now stir the embers, break the seal,
Awaken the faculties, hidden and real.
Rise in power, clear and true,
The inner vision born anew."
Now add this clear quartz to the pouch and recite;
With this crystal my mind is protected, and protection is sealed.
Candle
Light a beeswax candle and visualize the flame consuming any lingering tension or threats, often in the early morning just before and with the Rising of the Sun.
“Wights of the Fires, and Light of the Sun,
With this flame, I release from me all that blights,
or blinds my way.
Burn, consume, and bring to me clarity,
and banish all that would no longer serves my highest good.
By this light I dispel the blinding dark,
And with clarity of sight, guide my works.
Ignite the veins with passion's heat,
Make defenses strong, complete.
Burn away the parasite,
Guard against the thief tonight.
Shield my strength from all transgression,
Fuel my soul with fierce expression.
Power rises, pure and bold,
In this place burning bold.”
Now take what is left of the wax and place it the pouch and recite;
"By this wax and by the flame of the fires the right is complete and protection is sealed, that all that has been sought shall be done and revealed.
Black Tourmaline:
Hold the Black Tourmaline, focusing inward on the alignment of your consciousness, spirit, and intent:
"From the depth of the soul to the spark of the mind,
From the depths of the void of potential,
To the realization of all creations,
I call upon the forces that leaves stagnation behind.
No passive fate shall dictate my role,
I command myself; I am sovereign and whole.
Blackest Stone, anchor of my Wyrd,
Let all that is spoken, and all that is feared,
Be bound to the will where my power is cast.
I break from the stagnant;
I step from the past, that what I seek in the present,
into the future shall last.
My words are my consciousness, sharp and precise,
My works are my will, never paying a price.
My worth is the spirit that emerges anew,
Aligned with the work, unyielding and true.
Through this Tourmaline, dark as the deep,
I anchor the currents of the path that I keep.
Chaotic forces must shatter and before me they bend,
As my mind, soul, and will rule my Wyrd to the end,
from past to present and future again.
Thus shall it be,
That once born,
Ever shall I be."
Now, stitch the pouch closed with the stone placed inside and recite;
"Thus, I bind,
Thus, I seal,
Thus, I tie,
Thus, I feel,
Thus, I fulfill,
Thus, I will,
Thus, I wish and so I deal."
This is repeated with every stitch and then the final statement is made when the knot is made:
"Now is what I will so bound, both as this I hide, or if by another found."
Note: This adds an extra layer to insure that even if someone finds it it remains empowered, especially if it is kept by a loved one.
Some may consider using the Warlock Runes and combine the first initials of their name which becomes a "Bind Rune" and a personal symbol either on a piece of wood like Ash for a man or Elm for a woman based on old lore concepts though not always, as one can use whatever they have on hand, including baked clay, and connected it to or place it also inside the pouch before sewing, though most will connect it to the pouch directly as a charm with the pouch and its content.
The easiest option for most is to get a small drawstring pouch and then sew the end shut, and use the drawstrings to connect the rune pendent like object to it.

Some may wish to include a concept of three parts of their bodily selves to include into the pouch giving it a more personal lock which usually is a couple of strands of hair, some nail clippings, and a drop of their own blood. Some, whenever they get things like a blood test or shot will save the piece of bandage used with that blood and include it into said pouch. Then they hide it some place where it is least likely to be found or disturbed.
