Facts about our Church

Our stance is a direct rejection of the perpetual, paranoid victim complexes embraced by so many in contemporary alternative spiritualities or various known historical and ancient, still living, polytheistic traditions and cultures. We ourselves are polytheistic with a Quadrotheistic foundation. Rather than engaging in genuine independent thought, too many groups cling to modern groupthink dictatorships, gate keeping and throw tempertantrums that operate on a simplistic, dogmatic ultimatum: "If you do not believe what I do, then you are bad or evil." We refuse to participate in that line of thinking and its against their own claims of "anti-dogmatism" which dogma itself simply means an opinion and assumption, and their claims of anti-indoctrination, blind to the fact that doctrine is simply concepts written down regardless of one;'s beliefs around them. It's again, stupidity.

Why Our Outlook Differs from Conventional Warlock & Witch Groups besides the foundations

1. Skepticism of Bureaucracy & Defense of Individual Sovereignty

​

Modern traditional occult and witchcraft communities often enforce strict political and social conformity, demanding that their members adhere to specific progressive orthodoxies. In contrast, our philosophy centers heavily on anti-establishment sentiment, intense skepticism toward institutional overreach, and the absolute sovereignty of the individual. A worldview that champions personal responsibility and questions bureaucratic authority naturally shares common ground with broader populist movements that push back against centralized cultural control.

2. Shared Respect for Cultural Continuity & Western Heritage

​

While the First Church of Druwayu represents a distinct modern philosophical creation, our foundation values folkloric traditions and heritage-based motifs. Many mainstream pagan and esoteric groups define themselves by a total rejection of traditional Western structures. We, however, recognize that healthy societies rely on cultural continuity, social fabric, and the preservation of foundational traditions. We welcome Christians and Jews because we respect the shared historical, moral, and cultural roots of Western civilization rather than seeking to dismantle them. We don't welcome preaching or demanding we convert or else. We know your beliefs. We don't share them just as you do not share ours. If you did not know our particular beliefs, you'd have no issues with us so knowing them should not be an excuse for anything.

3. Logic, Humor, and Autonomy over Ideological Conformity

​

Where other spiritual groups treat political alignment with rigid, dogmatic solemnity despite their own foundations condemning the very same thing, Druwayu incorporates logic, humor, and a healthy appreciation for the absurd (pointless). We do not demand that our followers bow to ideological gatekeepers or adopt modern activist echo chambers. By placing high value on reason and independent thought, we leave room for genuine freedom of conscience that allows our members to think for themselves, hold conservative or populist leanings if they choose, and coexist peacefully with people of all traditional faiths within reason. That limit is we do not impose Druwayu on you. Do not try an impose yourself or anything else on us.

• Druwayu stands for individual liberty, sovereign thought, and mutual respect among those who value freedom over bureaucratic control.

4. Free Market of Ideas vs. Sacred Cow Orthodoxy

 

Where modern esoteric groups treat political positions as unquestionable sacred cows, Druwayu views the public square as an open market of ideas.

• Critique of Esoteric Tribalism: Most witch and warlock groups demand that spiritual identity dictate economic, political, and cultural voting blocks. They replace actual spiritual seeking with partisan tribalism.

• The Druan Alternative: We do not mandate how a member earns, votes, or organizes their private life. If a member’s logical evaluation leads them to support populist economic policies, national sovereignty, or conservative social frameworks, that is their prerogative as a free individual, not a breach of faith.

5. Pragmatic Coexistence Over Pseudo-Historical Resentment 

 

A major wedge used by contemporary occult and neo-pagan groups to justify hostility toward Christians and Jews is historical grievance harboring grudges over ancient or medieval events to which no modern group has any actual, unbroken historical connection. That goes back to the perpetual paranoid persecuted victim complexes which even some Christians and Jews push when its not even a reality and lumping it all in with the things that are. 

 

• Fighting over fabricated ancient history while centralized bureaucratic bodies strip away individual liberties and demand total cultural compliance is tactical foolishness. Christians, Jews, and Druans all face the same growing threat of state-enforced ideological conformity, institutional overreach, and the loss of individual sovereignty and many of the so called counter culture crap is blind mainstream garbage defending the very thing they claim to oppose.

• Pretending modern practitioners are the literal victims of historical conflicts is pure fiction. Their core beliefs are late inventions heavily drawn from romanticized 18th and 19th century theories, assumptions, popular fiction, and esoteric hoaxes that are blatant inventions by the very Western sources they claim to condemn. Manufactured historical resentment is used as a cheap substitute for real substance, logic, and self-awareness.

• Just because you do not like something about real history, you do not have the right to hide, suppress or reinvent it when it belongs to everyone to learn from and not repeat. Without the comparisons of the good and the bad, the intelligent and stupid, you leave every other generation less informed and more likely to repeat the very things they don't want, but claiming to have some grudge based in something you have no direct ties to personally other than in your own head is profoundly stupid.
