How Druwayu aligns with The Physician’s Pledge and more!

LIFE MUST BE RESPECTED AND PRESERVED
LIFE MUST BE RESPECTED AND PRESERVED

Recent questions have occurred where many want to know where the First Church of Druwayu stands on several factors, especially in regards to medical treatments and the practice of medicine. This is because some "New Religious Movements" tend to have some very odd, if not completely irrational views when it comes to factors of health, biology and real world sciences. The following covers this and begins with the The Physician’s Pledge Declaration of Geneva (2017):

As a member of the medical profession:

  • I solemnly pledge to dedicate my life to the service of humanity;

  • The health and well-being of my patient will be my first consideration;

  • I will respect the autonomy and dignity of my patient;

  • I will maintain the utmost respect for human life;

  • I will not permit considerations of age, disease or disability, creed, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social standing or any other factor to intervene between my duty and my patient;

  • I will respect the secrets that are confided in me, even after the patient has died;

  • I will practice my profession with conscience and dignity and in accordance with good medical practice;

  • I will foster the honor and noble traditions of the medical profession;

  • I will give to my teachers, colleagues, and students the respect and gratitude that is their due;

  • I will share my medical knowledge for the benefit of the patient and the advancement of healthcare;

  • I will attend to my own health, well-being, and abilities in order to provide care of the highest standard;

  • I will not use my medical knowledge to violate human rights and civil liberties, even under threat;

  • I make these promises solemnly, freely, and upon my honor.

The main difference is context and scope:

  • The Declaration of Geneva is specifically for physicians and medical practice.

  • Druwayu’s teachings are broader, guiding general life and moral behavior.

In principle, a Druan (adherent of Druwayu) could fully honor the Declaration of Geneva without violating their own ethical or philosophical beliefs.

Here is why.

🧭 Core Alignment: Ethical Commitment to Human Well-Being

The Physician’s Pledge Declaration of Geneva (2017):

First Church of Druwayu:

  • “Every breath, every being holds value, and the Church stands as a haven where freedom thrives, lifting each other up without oppressive control.”

Alignment: Both emphasize the intrinsic value of individuals and the importance of prioritizing their well-being. Druwayu's teachings highlight the sanctity of life and the responsibility to support one another, resonating with the Declaration's commitment to patient care.

🧠 Intellectual Integrity and Truth-Seeking

Declaration of Geneva (2017):

  • “I will not use my medical knowledge to violate human rights and civil liberties, even under threat.” World Medical Association

First Church of Druwayu

  • “We reject blind opinions in favor of critical thinking and wisdom, ensuring open-hearted yet razor-sharp discussions.”

Alignment: Both uphold the importance of intellectual integrity and the ethical use of knowledge. Druwayu's emphasis on critical thinking and rejecting blind obedience mirrors the Declaration's stance against the misuse of medical knowledge.

🤝 Respect for Autonomy and Dignity

Declaration of Geneva (2017):

First Church of Druwayu:

  • “Druwayu promotes autonomous resilience, responsibility, and moral endurance, refusing to crumble under hardship.”

Alignment: Both advocate for respecting individual autonomy and dignity. Druwayu's teachings on autonomy and resilience align with the Declaration's commitment to patient autonomy and dignity.

🛡️ Commitment to Ethical Standards

Declaration of Geneva (2017):

  • “I will practice my profession with conscience and dignity and in accordance with good medical practice.” World Medical Association

First Church of Druwayu:

  • “Druwayu's morals, ethics, and teachings evolve, bending to time without breaking.”

Alignment: Both emphasize the importance of ethical practice and the evolution of moral standards. Druwayu's dynamic approach to ethics complements the Declaration's call for conscientious and dignified practice.

🔄 Evolution and Adaptability

Declaration of Geneva (2017):

First Church of Druwayu:

  • “Druwayu’s morals, ethics, and teachings evolve, bending to time without breaking.”

Alignment: Both recognize the importance of adaptability and personal commitment to ethical principles. Druwayu's evolving teachings reflect a dynamic approach to ethics, akin to the Declaration's emphasis on personal honor and commitment.

Life Preservation and Druan Teachings

The First Church of Druwayu is grounded in logic, critical thinking, and the sanctity of life. Its adherents, known as Druans, follow teachings that emphasize resilience, personal responsibility, and valuing every being’s existence. From these core principles, it is clear that Druan teachings not only permit but encourage the use of modern medical technologies to preserve and enhance human life.

Sanctity of Life and Human Well-Being

Druan teachings explicitly state that “Every breath, every being holds value.” This aligns directly with medical ethics emphasizing patient well-being and justifies interventions like blood transfusions, organ transplants, and regenerative medicine. The principle of valuing life above possessions or external considerations makes the use of technology for survival not only acceptable but ethically encouraged. However, it i also recognized that those who do not care about the lives of others and actively seek to destroy them simply because they disagree with them are those who are viewed as forfeiting the value of their own lives and need to be removed from the population.

Rational, Evidence-Based Approach

Druan culture emphasizes critical thinking, skepticism, and following facts, ensuring that decisions are guided by reason and evidence. Technologies such as cybernetics, organ cloning, and other life-saving innovations are tools derived from scientific evidence. Druan teachings support the responsible adoption of these methods as rational and ethically sound means to preserve life.

Moral Responsibility and Community Support

Druans are taught that humans have a responsibility to improve themselves and protect others from needless suffering. Life-saving interventions, including organ cloning or cybernetic enhancements, fulfill this collective responsibility. By embracing such technologies, Druans act in accordance with their ethical duty to reduce suffering and support the survival and thriving of their community.

Evolution and Adaptability

Druan ethics emphasize that morals and principles “evolve, bending to time without breaking.” This dynamic framework allows the religion to incorporate advances in medical science seamlessly. As new life-preserving technologies emerge, they can be ethically evaluated and adopted without conflicting with the fundamental teachings of Druwayu.

Harmony with Medical Ethics

Druan teachings align closely with the Declaration of Geneva’s pledge to prioritize patient well-being, respect autonomy and dignity, and refrain from causing harm. Life-saving procedures and innovations, including cybernetics, organ cloning, and blood transfusions, are entirely consistent with both Druan ethical philosophy and modern medical standards.

Conclusion:

The teachings followed by Druans provide a clear ethical framework that embraces medical innovation for the preservation of human life. By valuing life, emphasizing rationality, and promoting moral responsibility, Druans fully support the use of technologies such as organ cloning, cybernetics, and blood transfusions to save lives and reduce suffering, in full harmony with their core principles.

This also means any devices inserted into a person for their survival will not be allowed to be revoked or removed as some sort of Repossession by a company, as this would be and is a violation against the autonomy of the individual and violates their well being. Even if some sort of contract is forced upon a person to receive such treatment, such forced signatures are also regardless as worthless and unable to be tolerated, much less enforced.
