Rather than go over all the content of those messages, I broke them down into specific points they have made. Do note, this is not Official and I share it for consideration and amusement.
Justifications for considerations of Inclusion
Hallowed Dancers, encompassing both strippers and belly dancers, embody sacred expressions of sexual potency, fertility, cosmic harmonies, and liberation. Their movements are rituals of transformation, resonating with Druwayu’s reverence for life, nature, and community. The connection between sexuality, spirituality, and sacred embodiment aligns with Druwayu’s core tenets:
Sanctity of Life
Commitment to One Another
Self and Mutual Sufficiency
Custodians of Life
Theological Connection: The Pole and Streamers
The One and Three consist of one god and three goddesses, represented through the symbolic interplay of the pole and its streamers.
The pole serves as the embodiment of the god, the unifying pillar of existence.
The streamers, traditionally green, red, and white, correspond to the three goddesses, each channeling distinct aspects of life’s cyclical energy.
Hallowed Dancers unite feminine and masculine forces through movement, binding their dances to creation, regeneration, and balance.
This observance honors summer’s peak, celebrating the sun’s restorative and life-giving potency.
Sexual Symbolism and Sacred Expression
Sex is neither taboo nor a force to be feared. Suppression contradicts the natural order and imposes psychological constraints. In Druwayu, sexuality represents the creative drive of the One and Three, manifesting across all living and cosmic expressions.
Pole dancing and belly dance as sacred arts: Hallowed Dancers channel divine qualities through fluid, symbolic movements that awaken procreative energies.
Masculine and feminine interplay: The post represents the god’s structuring force, while circular movements, spins, and flowing gestures reflect the goddesses’ dynamic creativity.
Historical evolution: The strip pole’s roots connect to the May Pole, with traditions merging into erotic performance art by the 1920s, evolving significantly by the 1980s. It absorbed elements of athleticism and storytelling, reinforcing its status as an intentional art form.
Cultural Hybrids: East Meets West
Sacred dance and sexuality have coexisted in religious traditions worldwide, sometimes as direct expressions of divine communion.
Funeral strippers in Taiwan (1980): An adaptation of sacred sexuality, dancers performed in religious processions, merging mourning rituals with vitality.
Public and private hypocrisy: Cultural taboos often suppress outward expressions of sexuality while clandestinely indulging in them. Druwayu acknowledges this contradiction and rejects dishonesty, emphasizing openness and integrity.
Roles of Hallowed Dancers
Strippers as Holy Liberators: Disrobing is an act of removing societal burdens, unveiling the authentic self. The dance asserts freedom against unjust suppression, honoring the creative force of the One and Three.
Belly Dancers as Holy Harmonizers: Their movements mirror birth, renewal, and cosmic rhythms, reflecting the continuous flow of existence. These dancers sustain physical health, enhance fertility, and represent the perpetual motion of creation.
Integration into Druwayu
Hallowed Dancers find their place within Druwayu’s seasonal observances and sacred rites.
Midsummer Pole Celebration
The Midsummer Pole, draped in three sacred colors, serves as the ritual axis for the performance.
Hallowed Dancers lead the rites, their movements consecrating the space and invoking the regenerative forces of summer.
Circular weaving and unifying expressions bind the energies of the One and Three, ensuring harmony within the Druan community.
Alignment with Druwayu’s Principles
Nature: The dances synchronize with fertility rites, reinforcing Druwayu’s natural reverence.
Integrity: Hallowed Dancers reject illusions and embody truth, mirroring Druwayu’s commitment to authenticity.
Community: Ritual dance and pole observances strengthen communal identity, uniting Druans through shared experience.
Drikeyu and the Hallowed Dance
Drikeyu consists of three operative principles—Worloga, Wyrda, and Wihas—each governing the structural, cyclical, and generative forces of existence. Hallowed Dancers embody these principles through movement, bridging eternal laws, reciprocal dynamics, and infinite essence within Druwayu’s sacred expressions.
Eternal Laws: The structured form of the Pole mirrors Worloga, the pillar of cosmic order. The dancers’ interaction with the pole represents the engagement with the foundational forces that shape reality.
Reciprocal Dynamics: The woven streamers, circular motions, and rhythmic movements embody Wyrda, the ceaseless interplay of forces. The exchange between masculine and feminine energies within the dance reflects the fundamental reciprocity inherent in all existence.
Infinite Essence: The continual flow of movement, birth, renewal, and shedding of restrictions aligns with Wihas. The dancers channel the infinite drive of creation, ensuring Druwayu’s sacred dance is not just a ritual but a living manifestation of cosmic essence.
Through this integration, the hallowed becomes more than symbolic—it actively connects Druans to the core dynamics of the One and Three, reinforcing the bridge between science, theology, and philosophy within the Drikeyu and he overall teachings of Druwayu.
